Interactive Knowledge Reinforcement Game (Jeopardy-Style)
Type: Facilitator-led training game
Tools: PowerPoint
Context: New and entry-level parts learners needed a more engaging way to reinforce foundational parts knowledge during live training sessions. Traditional review formats weren’t keeping learners involved or encouraging participation across the group.
Audience: Entry-level parts and technical support learners
My Role: Designed and developed the training experience, including game mechanics, question structure, slide navigation, and facilitator flow.
Solution: I created an interactive, Jeopardy-style review game using PowerPoint to support team-based learning in a live, facilitator-led environment. The design uses clickable navigation, progressive difficulty, and a persistent game board to support facilitator-managed visual state awareness, keeping sessions fast-paced and easy to manage without an LMS.
Impact: The game format increased participation during review sessions and made it easier for facilitators to check understanding, encourage discussion, and maintain learner engagement throughout the training.
Reflection: This project reinforced the importance of choosing tools that match delivery constraints. PowerPoint provided the flexibility needed for live facilitation and interactive navigation while keeping the experience simple and accessible. In a production environment, this approach could be extended using an LMS or authoring tool to automate scoring and track completion.
